This place is amazing. If you're close to base and want something amazing for dinner (doesn't matter what style of food you're in the mood for, this place transcends all boundaries) grab food here. The place is well cared for and adds to the atmosphere you're eating in. Only two tables, but still plenty of room to enjoy your food.
And the FOOD. Haven't had something on the menu yet that has disappointed. Thought I'd test them on their Barbacoa this time around and I still haven't found something I don't enjoy completely. Everything is fresh and seasoned to perfection. You could walk in, blindfold yourself and point randomly at the menu and you'd find something delicious in front of you in about ten minutes. Do yourself a favor and start hitting this spot up. Best Mexican in town. -

Recommend this Mexican joint. Fresh ingredients, made to order and traditional cooks in the back pushing out dishes. This little place does not have a lot of room inside but don't let that deter you. The parking is generally plentiful. Had a sample of tacos, pastor, carnitas and carne asada. All were good. They give the choice of corn or flour tortillas. They have two salsas, red and green. The red is spicier of course and the green is a nice mild flavor. Stop in and try out some tacos or burritos or one of the dishes.

Not bad. I go there from time to time because I know what I'm getting. Decent Mexican food, nice staff, good service. The place is a bit cramped but it does remind me of the mom & pop Mexican places I use to frequent back in California.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a rainy Friday night. Not busy but a steady. I saw the asada fries and placed an order. Spicy? Oh, yeah. Fries were soft to soak up all the goodness on top. Cheese sauce may have been canned. Steak was outstanding and loved the layer of sour cream. The menu had several mexican drinks and desserts.
Feel free to eat in or take out. The menu is extensive... options on the wall and printed menu is long. Seating can handle about 20 guests. I love the set up...just like a Chinese restaurant. Built for take out but can eat in if you want.
I recommend anything with steak... tender and good flavor. -

Small hole in a wall joint near Ocean View beach. I love their tacos but their pupusas shine the most in their menu. They weren't kidding when they say the sauce was spicy ! I would go again and double the size of my order because I was still hungry.
